Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel, Raj Bhavan staff celebrate 150th anniversary of national song Vande Mataram, honoring Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay.

In the banquet hall of Raj Bhavan, Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel attended the 150th anniversary celebration of the national song Vande Mataramat on Friday. In the presence of Raj Bhavan authorities and staff, he performed the national anthem, Vande Mataram.

On the anniversary of the national hymn Vande Mataram, which was penned by Shri Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay and is a representation of the struggle for freedom, sacrifice, and inspiration, Governor Shri Patel wished everyone a happy anniversary.

Tribal Cell Secretary Smt. Meenakshi Singh, Additional Secretary Shri Umashankar Bhargav, Principal Secretary to Governor Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari, and Raj Bhavan officers and staff joined together to sing the national hymn on this occasion.
