AAP held a massive protest in Tarn Taran demanding Congress chief Raja Warring’s ouster for casteist remarks, calling it an insult to Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab conducted a huge protest against Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, the head of the Punjab Congress, for making despicable and casteist comments about a SC Congress official. Hundreds of AAP members gathered in Tarn Taran for the demonstration, which was organized by senior party leaders. They demanded that Raja Warring be kicked out the Congress and that he apologize publicly without conditions for his hurtful words that have harmed the feelings of Scheduled Caste groups.

Along with senior party officials and volunteers, Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal led the protest. The angry demonstrators set fire to an effigy of Raja Warring while shouting “Raja Warring Haye Haye” and “Congress Murdabad.” The AAP workers also surrounded the local Congress headquarters in Tarn Taran to protest the Congress leadership’s persistent silence over Warring’s insulting comments.

AAP leaders remarked, “Raja Warring’s casteist attitude has been shown. His comments are an insult to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s beliefs and to the millions of people who have fought for equality and respect. If Congress really believes in social justice, it needs to punish him harshly.

Cheema said that the Aam Aadmi Party will keep fighting against discrimination based on caste and make sure that everyone in Punjab is treated with respect and fairness. “This protest isn’t political; it’s a fight for the dignity of our people,” he stated.
