GMADA two-day special camp in Mohali resolved over 1,000 pending citizen issues, ensuring quick, transparent, and efficient public service in Punjab.

Hardeep Singh Mundian, the Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister, said  that the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) held a two-day special camp where they were able to handle more than 1,000 problems for citizens and other stakeholders to their satisfaction. The goal of the program was to clear up issues that had been sitting around for a long period in a way that was quick and easy for citizens.

The Cabinet Minister talked about what happened on the second and last day. He added that cases that were still open in the Estate Office, Accounts Branch, Planning Wing, and other divisions were properly handled after following the proper procedures. He stated that the Housing and Urban Development Department is making sure that all public services are delivered to citizens and other stakeholders in a completely open and efficient way under the direction of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann.

People who had their cases settled on the spot were happy and praised the Punjab Government for holding the camp even on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). They said that these kinds of arrangements are very helpful because many people can’t go to GMADA offices during regular business hours because of personal commitments.

Sakshi Sawhney, the Chief Administrator of GMADA, said that Principal Secretary Mr. Vikas Garg told them to set up the two-day program to get rid of pending cases. She said that further camps like these would be held in the future as needed. She thanked the whole GMADA team for making the project a success and promised to keep offering the public with services that are easy and trouble-free.

She further said that Mundian has told her that work in different branches would now be reviewed regularly to make sure that there are no unnecessary delays in service delivery.
