Fans were alarmed when news of veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra’ s hospitalization went viral online. He will turn 90 in December and has been taken to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. A report claims that the actor has just been admitted for standard medical examinations.

The renowned actor, affectionately referred to as the “He-Man of Bollywood,” was admitted earlier this week to undergo a battery of routine examinations. Hindustan Times was informed by a family source that Dharmendra is at Breach Candy Hospital at the moment, but that there is no reason to be concerned. The reason for his present stay is that the actor is in good health and frequently goes to the hospital for standard medical examinations. It appears that he was spotted there, which has caused his followers to go crazy, but he is completely OK, so there is no need to worry.

The insider said that Dharmendra personally decided to spend a few days at the hospital in order to finish all of the necessary tests at once rather than making the trip back and forth. Usually taking two to three days to finish, Dharmendra goes through a number of standard examinations. At the age of 89, he finds that traveling every day might be exhausting. Instead of making the daily commute, he decided to stay at the hospital and do all the tests at once, the person added.
