CM Yogi Adityanath says 1.35 lakh Uttar Pradesh schools revived under Operation Kayakalp with libraries; urges students to read more, not waste time on videos.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said  that 1.35 lakh schools in the state have been reopened as a result of Operation Kayakalp, which has given them libraries. He urged kids to study books rather than waste time watching videos.

“In Uttar Pradesh, over 1.56 lakh schools are run under the Basic Education Council, of which 1.36 lakh are such that the revival work has been completed through Operation Kayakalp,” CM Adityanath stated while launching a book fair at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University. Additionally, agreements have been made for each school to have a library.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also stated that “when citizens read, the country leads,” the Chief Minister added, encouraging youngsters to read more to increase their knowledge.

“You must be squandering five to six hours of each day on your smartphone or watching videos. CM Adityanath advised, “Instead, you should read books about modern technology, creative endeavors outside of your curriculum, connections with the country and the world, and India’s glorious past in addition to your course books.”

“A solid basis for competitive tests will be prepared by this. This will help you in the future,” Adityanath remarked, according per a statement posted on social media site X by the Chief Minister’s Office.

“PM Modi himself wrote a book for the youth of the country, which is called ‘Exam Warriors,'” CM Adityanath addressed the problem of test anxiety.

He remarked, “This book is written in a very simple and natural language with small quotes on how we can achieve success, whether it is your regular annual exam or preparation for a competitive exam.” He also noted that the book contains helpful advice on how to face hardship with courage.

The Chief Minister encouraged innovators and the general public to find answers rather than gripe about common issues during a separate event held to commemorate the convocation ceremony at an innovation campus in Gorakhpur.

According to him, a community that takes the lead in problem-solving also stays at the forefront of advancement.

Using traffic bottlenecks as an example, he claimed that the public’s disregard for traffic laws, which includes parking illegally on public roadways, is partially to blame for the issue.

He urged everyone to play their positive part in society by abiding by traffic laws, saying that doing so is essential to our safety and makes traveling easier.

By using Delhi’s poisonous air as an example, CM Adityanath also emphasized the significance of environmental preservation. He urged individuals to adopt socially conscious activities, saying that “burning waste and crops produces deadly gases that affect everyone, including those who are carelessly disposing of waste.”
