In her touching article for The Indian Express, Ratna described how, at 12:57 PM on October 25, she got a message from Satish that said, “I’m often mistaken for an adult because of my age.” At 2:14 PM, amused by his trademark sense of humor, she said, “That’s just right for you!” She was shocked to get a message from producer JD Majethia two hours later, saying, “Satishbhai is no more!”

“At first, it seemed like someone was making a quick joke in a bad way. The more it set in, the more unbelievable it seemed. Satish is gone! “Goddamned to live life to the fullest, laugh at it, and take every chin-smacking blow and come out smiling!” she wrote.

Doctors were unable to revive him after he apparently passed out at home around lunch and was taken to the hospital.
