Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains and Advisor Deepak Bali invite J&K CM Omar Abdullah to attend 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.

Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains and Advisor to Tourism & Cultural Affairs Department Deepak Bali visited J&K CM Mr. Omar Abdullah in Srinagar on Monday evening as part of the Punjab Government’s project to invite leaders from all over the country to the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. They formally invited him to attend the major events that will take place at Sri Anandpur Sahib next month.

The Education Minister gave Mr. Abdullah an update on the state-level festivities that are being planned to honor Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s tremendous sacrifice, which he made in order to defend the principles of human dignity and religious freedom. The major activities at Sri Anandpur Sahib from November 23 to 25 were among the highlights of the remembrance festivities that he also informed him about.

The Chief Minister accepted the invitation and recognized the great importance of Guru Sahib’s martyrdom and His timeless teachings on world peace, harmony, and fraternity, which still motivate people today.

Harjot Singh Bains expressed his appreciation for the commemorative programs, stating that they are being held at several sacred locations connected to the life, teachings, and ultimate sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji and His followers, including Bhai Sati Das ji, Bhai Mati Das ji, Bhai Dayala ji, and Bhai Jaita ji (Baba Jiwan Singh ji).
