Noida Police deploy traffic and security measures for Chhath Puja 2025 at 17 ghats, including Kalindi Kunj, expecting over 10 lakh devotees.

During Chhath Puja, the Noida traffic police are working to drive devotees (vratis) to the altars (vedika) and places of devotion at 17 ghats, including Kalindi Kunj, due to the large number of people at the ghats. The goal of the endeavor is to provide the devotees with improved facilities.

With assistance from the organizing committee’s office bearers, the Traffic DCP and ADCP are setting up at the Chhath ghats to guarantee efficient operation. A large number of Gautam Buddh Nagar locals attend Chhath Puja, going to the ghats to offer the devotion. With more than a million devotees anticipated at the Kalindi Kunj ghat alone, 17 ghats have been prepared in Noida.

The Chhath ghats and sites have been inspected, and preparations for Chhath Puja have been finished, according to DCP Traffic Dr. Praveen Ranjan Singh. The construction of parking lots and other such amenities has been prioritized in order to guarantee that devotees visiting by car encounter no problems.

The Chhath ghat and the place of worship at Noida Stadium were visited by DCP Noida Yamuna Prasad on Sunday. He gave police officers and organizers’ office-bearers instructions to maintain strict security.

There are now 52 Chhath ghats in Gautam Buddh Nagar, including four major ones, according to Prasad. A lot of devotees show up at Kalindi Ghat and Noida Stadium in Sector 21A, and plans have been created with these things in mind. Everywhere there will be police officers on duty.
