Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has announced a new CM Flying Squad to ensure quality and transparency in link road construction across the state, led by senior PWD and Mandi Board engineers.

CM Bhagwant Mann has declared the creation of a new CM Flying Squad to assess the state’s link road construction projects.

Senior representatives from the Public Works Department (PWD) and Punjab Mandi Board are part of the team.

The construction quality in the Malwa, Majha, and Doaba regions would be supervised by Superintending Engineers Davinder Singh, Baldev Singh, Manpreet Singh Dua, and Rajiv Saini.

It should be noted that the Chief Minister just began the process of repairing 19,492 kilometers of connection roads from Tarn Taran.

This plan would cost a total of Rs 3,425 crore.

These aerial teams would inspect the caliber of repairs throughout the state.

The members of the squad will examine the state of the roads’ construction and upkeep. This action’s goal is to guarantee responsibility and transparency in road quality.
