Rajvir Jawanda, a well-known Punjabi musician, died on October 8 at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, Punjab, after struggling with grave injuries acquired in a car accident. He was 35 years old. Details of his funeral were shared on social media by fellow singer Ammy Virk, and the Punjabi music and cinema community has been expressing condolences online.
On September 27, the disaster occurred while traveling to Himachal Pradesh. He passed away from multiple organ failure even though he was kept on life support for eleven days. Jawanda’s wife, kids, and mother survive him.

On his way to Shimla, Rajvir Jawanda got involved in a motorcycle accident. Jawanda apparently lost control of his motorcycle during the accident, which happened in the Baddi area. While Jawanda was riding through the Solan district on his way to Shimla, his bike struck some cattle. His head and spine were severely injured in the incident, necessitating emergency medical care.
Jawanda was placed on life support at a hospital in Mohali following the accident. He was treated for a number of severe injuries, including head and spine damage, according to hospital officials. His condition did not improve over the course of 11 days, despite the medical team’s intensive efforts. At 10:55 a.m. on Wednesday, Fortis Hospital pronounced him deceased.
