Under CM Yogi Adityanath, UP advances industrial growth with eco-friendly PM MITRA Park in Hardoi and Lucknow, promoting development and environmental preservation.

With the planned PM MITRA Park in the districts of Lucknow and Hardoi, the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is moving closer to a new industrial era. In line with the government’s “environment with development” strategy, the park seeks to establish a standard for sustainable development by striking a balance between industrial expansion and environmental preservation.

The proposed plan calls for industrial units to take up 55% of the 100-acre park, with the remaining 3% set aside for residential use, 4% for institutional uses, 2% for a transportation hub, and 4% for utilities and amenities. Notably, 11% of the land will be planted with fruit and greenery, along with buffer zones and green belts to lessen pollution and protect regional biodiversity.

Additionally, the project includes water conservation measures including a drainage channel and reservoir that cover 2% of the land, new roads that cover over 13% of the territory, and the reinforcing of existing roads in 0.1% of the area. 0.5% of the park will be dedicated to recreational areas.

PM MITRA Park is anticipated to create over 1,000,000 employment and draw in investments totaling Rs 10,000 crore with an estimated investment of Rs 1,680 crore. Rainwater harvesting, solar power, energy-efficient architecture, e-waste management systems, and environmentally acceptable building materials will all be incorporated into the park.

According to officials, Uttar Pradesh will become a model “Green State” and solidify its status as the “Growth Engine of India” with this program.
