Women’s Indian Open 2025: World-class golfers from all over the world will gather in Gurugram for the 2025 edition of India’s premier women’s golf tournament, which will once again feature a strong lineup. The tournament will take place at the renowned DLF Golf & Country Club, which will host it for the fifteenth time, from October 9–12, 2025.

Since its inception in 2007, the Hero Women’s Indian Open has grown significantly and has been recognized as a premier tournament on the Ladies European Tour (LET) since 2010. The tournament’s prize fund has been raised to USD $500,000 this year, underscoring its rising stature on the world golf calendar.

International Stars Meet India’s Best:

They will be joined in this edition by a formidable group of up-and-coming local golfers from the Women’s Pro Golf Tour (Hero WPGT). For Indian golfers hoping to play on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and other tournaments, it is an essential first step.

Defending champion Liz Young, current LET Order of Merit leader Mimi Rhodes, and rising star Anna Huang—the 16-year-old Canadian phenomenon who just won back-to-back LET titles—will also be part of the 2025 edition’s outstanding international field. This year’s field is the strongest in event history, with Chiara Tamburlini, Alice Hewson, Shannon Tan, and Sara Kouskova among the other top competitors. All four of them won the 2025 LET season numerous times.

A Legends Launchpad : 

Champions of the Women’s Indian Open have a long history of becoming legendary figures in the sport. Notably, the only three-time winner of the Indian Open, Pornanong Phatlum, is now a regular on the elite LPGA Tour, the highest level of women’s professional golf, and Yani Tseng, the 2007 winner, became the world’s top female golfer.

Laura Davies, the 2010 winner, is considered a world-renowned figure in women’s golf. Jasmine Suwannapura, Emily Kristine Pedersen, Caroline Hedwall, Aditi Ashok, Olivia Cowan, and Aline Krauter are just a few of the previous champions who have made a name for themselves on the European and LPGA tours.
