After Andaz Apna Apna, Aamir Khan revealed why he chose not to work with Salman Khan again, citing how he was treated during the film’s shoot.

When they filmed Andaz Apna Apna in 1994, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan were the new Bollywood stars. For the most part, they were praised for their camaraderie and performances. However, Aamir Khan has no desire to collaborate with Salman Khan again after the film. Isn’t that shocking? The two celebs discussed their equations with the first guests on the Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle show. Aamir disclosed the rationale behind his first choice to not collaborate with Salman again in that specific episode.

“I didn’t like him a lot because I used to feel that yeh time par nahi ata (he wasn’t punctual); it was quite a problem,” Aamir Khan recalls when discussing the same topic. We would have been thrilled if he had at least arrived at 12 p.m., as he used to visit the set. He used to arrive, sleep, and then have lunch. When he woke up, Raj and I would break down the scenes for him because it was already half past that time. Even back then, he would treat me like an assistant as he sat there appearing preoccupied.

Salman responded to the same by saying, “Mr. Aamir Khan used to arrive on set at 7 am for a shift that began at 9 am when we were shooting on Andaz Apna Apna. since I had fifteen films and he had just one. I worked from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., then from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and then from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. He used to do a lot of rehearsals, so by the time I got there, I was worn out. I used to advise folks to call me just when he was ready. He therefore believed that I was uninterested in my work at the moment.

After chuckling, Aamir said, “I used to think, ‘This is not right; that man is not right,’ all the time. I was really hard on myself, too. We had some wonderful times while filming together, and I gradually came to realize that we are all people.

Andaz Apna Apna, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, came out in 1994. In addition to Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Juhi Chawla, Viju Khote, and Shehzad Khan play important roles in the comedy film. In India, the movie brought in Rs 5.15 crore at the box office.
