Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: Chief Election Commissioner to visit Bihar soon to review poll preparedness after the transfer-posting process ends.

Patna: The Chief Secretary of Bihar and other senior officials have been directed by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to finish all government officer posting and transfer procedures by Monday, October 6. Prior to the official announcement of elections, this step is customary procedure to provide an impartial and equitable environment.

Bihar will be visited by the Chief Election Commissioner.

According to sources, the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) will travel to Bihar to assess the state’s election readiness when the transfer-posting process is finished. The official announcement of the election calendar is anticipated to be made possible by this visit.

A formal statement is anticipated shortly.

There is a lot of speculation that the official announcement of the Bihar Assembly elections would occur soon after October 6. The Model Code of Conduct (MCC), which imposes limitations on transfers, postings, and new government initiatives or announcements, will take effect immediately throughout the state after the dates are announced.
