CM Yogi Adityanath claimed Hindu population fell from 60 crore in 1100 to 30 crore by 1947 due to foreign invasions and colonial rule.

In Lucknow:  According to CM Yogi, centuries of colonial exploitation and foreign invasions have severely diminished the Hindu population in addition to pillaging India’s resources and populace. He said this on Tuesday in Lucknow during a state-level workshop on “Atmanirbhar Bharat-Swadeshi Sankalp.”

“The number of Hindus has decreased from 60 crore to 30 crore,” said CM Yogi

By the time India gained independence in 1947, CM Yogi claimed that the number of Hindus had decreased to about 30 crore from its peak of almost 60 crore in the 12th century.

By the year 1100, there were 60 crore Hindus living in India. And just 30 crore Hindus lived in the country when it became independent in 1947. Tell me, did our population grow or shrink during the past 800-900 years? Speaking to the audience, CM Yogi stated.

India had all the resources it needed to flourish, the chief minister added, but it still suffered because of the polarizing policies of foreign authorities.

“What was missing from India? Everything was there. However, there were many who separated individuals based on a variety of factors, including caste, geography, and language. And they still have the same alien mindset now. “They are causing divisions in society,” the Chief Minister declared.

Indians are to be empowered by PM Modi’s call for the Swadeshi movement.

Referencing the government’s focus on independence and domestic manufacturing, he claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal for a Swadeshi movement aims to empower Indian laborers and young people. “They will accuse this Swadeshi campaign of everything. The Prime Minister’s message, however, is that we ought to support anything created using the labor of Indian laborers and the skills of our young people,” CM Yogi continued.

A significant change to India’s indirect tax system, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) 2.0 was introduced by the national government earlier on Monday.

In a letter to the public, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished them a happy Navratri and emphasized that the “GST Bachat Utsav” (GST Savings Festival) will increase savings and benefit all facets of society.

There’s even more reason to celebrate this year’s holiday season. On September 22, the Prime Minister stated, “The Next Generation GST reforms have started to make their presence felt, marking the beginning of a ‘GST Bachat Utsav’ across the country.”

He emphasized that middle-class families, traders, MSMEs, farmers, women, youth, and the impoverished will all immediately benefit from the reforms. “They will encourage greater growth and investments and accelerate the progress of every state and region,” stated Prime Minister Modi.
