Bihar Police SI Vacancy 2025: Young people who want to work for the Bihar Police as Sub-Inspectors (SIs) should be happy. A notice offering 1799 Sub-Inspector posts has been made public. The Level-6 pay scale will be given to the chosen applicants. Online applications are being accepted for these posts by the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission. The deadline for online applications is October 26. The application procedure will open on September 26.

The Home Department (Reserve Branch) has informed us that each candidate may only submit one online application. Applications are open to people of all genders, including men and women. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or an equivalent credential recognized by the state government is required of applicants. Candidates’ ages will be determined on August 1, 2025. Candidates may also apply, nevertheless, if they are at least the age requirement set by the government as of August 1, 2025.

Bihar Police : Candidates are eligible up to age 40.

Candidates’ matriculation or comparable credentials will be used to calculate their age. Men in the unreserved (generic) category must be at least 20 years old and no older than 37; women must be at least 20 years old and no older than 40. Men and women in the Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) must be at least 20 years old and no older than 40. Men and women of Scheduled Castes (SCs) must be at least 20 years old and no older than 42.
