Under the Saat Nischay-2 Sulabh Samparkta scheme, the Bihar government has given its approval for the Madhaul-Rohua road to be strengthened and widened. The construction of a 5.350-kilometer road, which would cost Rs 29.59 crore, will ease traffic in Ramdayalu and cut the distance between Madhaul and Rohua by 7 kilometers.
The Madhaul-Rohua road in Muzaffarpur will be strengthened and widened as part of the Saat Nischay-2 Sulabh Samparkta program, which has been approved by the Bihar government. According to Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, the initiative will be crucial in improving regional connectivity and making transportation easier.
For the 5.35 km section, which would travel via Susta, Madhopur (NH-28), Sherpur, Mithanpura, and Bela Imli Chowk before arriving at Rohua, a total of Rs 29.59 crore has been approved.
The Muzaffarpur-Pusa road currently forces heavy vehicles traveling from Madhaul to Rohua to take a 12-kilometer detour via Bhikhanpur, Masjid Chowk, and Prahladpur. By cutting the distance by roughly 7 km, the new road project will relieve traffic at Ramdayalu, cut down on travel time, and lessen the load on Samastipur NH.
Choudhary pointed out that Bihar’s road system has significantly improved since 2005, with paved roads now connecting practically all of the state’s villages. Approval was given after the Road Construction Department recently surveyed the route and sent a report to headquarters.
