CM Yogi reviewed law and order, criticizing incidents in Bareilly, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, and Meerut, including firing at Disha Patani’s home.

CM Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has ordered all district magistrates and senior police officers to be well prepared for the festival season and to take the strongest possible measures against disruptors. During a high-level law and order review meeting conducted via video conference, the Chief Minister issued a severe warning, instructing police to deal with harassers and disruptive elements “in their own language.”

The directive comes as the CM Yogi reportedly voiced his strong disapproval of a number of recent law and order incidents, such as the killing of a student in Gorakhpur by cattle smugglers, the death of a young person in Ghazipur from an alleged police beating, a firing incident at a Bareilly residence, and communal tension in Meerut. Despite repeated appeals for caution, he also criticized the suspected police complicity with livestock traffickers in Kushinagar and pointed out that accusations from Varanasi are still coming in.
Put Women’s Safety First and Prepare for the Festival

The CM Yogi Adityanath announced that the fifth phase of ‘Mission Shakti’ would begin on September 22, which is the first day of Shardiya Navratri, and that women’s safety was a key topic of discussion during the meeting. To increase awareness, a women’s police officer bike rally will take place in each district on the evening of September 21 before the month-long campaign begins. Anti-Romeo Squads will be actively stationed close to public areas, schools, and institutions starting on September 22.

The CM Yogi  directed the deployment of plainclothes police officers at puja pandals and other congested locations for the festivals, which include Navratri, Vijayadashami, and Deepavali. Additionally, he ordered departments to maintain a clean environment, a steady supply of electricity, and appropriate traffic control strategies.

Maintain law and order by taking proactive measures against known troublemakers. When handling delicate matters, senior officers must take the initiative.

Boost alertness on social media to combat false information and rumors. Present accurate incident facts to the public as soon as possible.

Women’s Safety: Make sure ‘Pink Booths’ stay open and that female beat police run awareness campaigns in the villages. Women should be recognized for their achievements under Mission Shakti.

Public Works: Finish all road maintenance and repair tasks within a specified time limit. Make sure temples have enough drinking water and are kept clean.

Healthcare: Keep a sufficient supply of medications, such as rabies shots and snake anti-venom, at hospitals.

Flood Relief: Give each and every person impacted a relief kit. Make sure the victim’s family receives payment for their loss of life within 24 hours, and grant individuals whose homes have been destroyed land allotments at higher ground.

Administration: Make improvements at homeless cow shelters, make sure farmers have access to fertilizer on schedule, and promptly address any public complaints.

Vision 2047: Gather the opinions of five to ten distinguished individuals in each district regarding the “Developed Uttar Pradesh – 2047” vision.

As the conference came to an end, the chief minister referred to the holiday season as a “sensitive time,” and he urged officials to sustain peace and order by improving public collaboration and teamwork.
