CM Bhagwant Mann Mourns Loss of Lives in Gurdwara Attack at Poonch Sector

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss. Among those killed were Bhai Amrik Singh, a respected Raagi (religious singer), along with Amarjit Singh, Ranjit Singh, and Ruby Kaur. The Gurdwara, a sacred place where people gather to pray for peace and well-being, became the site of violence after being hit during shelling by Pakistan.

Calling it a barbaric and painful act, CM Mann strongly condemned the Gurdwara attack, stating that it is deeply disturbing when places of worship and innocent civilians become targets during cross-border tension. He described the incident as “ghastly” and said it was heartbreaking that lives were lost in a space meant for prayer and peace.

“This is a painful moment not just for the families of the victims but for all of us. Innocent lives should never be caught in such violence,” said the Chief Minister.
