Sad News from Pahalgam: A Peaceful Place Hurt by Violence
On April 22, 2025, something very sad happened in Pahalgam, a beautiful place in Jammu and Kashmir. Many people go there to enjoy nature and relax. But on this day, a group of men with guns attacked people in Baisaran valley, a popular spot nearby.
At least 27 people died in the attack, and more than 20 others were hurt. Most of them were tourists and local people who were just there to enjoy the day.
The attackers were from a terrorist group. They were wearing army clothes and tricked people into thinking they were safe. Then, they started shooting. It was very scary and heartbreaking.
