Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Dedicates Modern Auditorium at DIET Sangrur
Sangrur, April 15, 2025: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann dedicated a newly constructed, state-of-the-art auditorium at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in Sangrur today. Built at a cost of ₹4.16 crore, the 400-seat facility is equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning, projectors, and advanced technical equipment.
In his address, CM Mann emphasized the importance of providing platforms for the youth to showcase their talents and skills. He described the auditorium as a “launchpad” for the youth, enabling them to excel in various fields. The Chief Minister highlighted that such infrastructure was previously available only abroad but is now being realized in Punjab due to the government’s efforts.
The DIET Sangrur, established in 1993, has been instrumental in enhancing the quality of elementary education in the region. The addition of this modern auditorium is expected to further strengthen its role in shaping the future of Punjab’s youth.
CM Mann reiterated his commitment to the holistic development of the state’s youth, stating that the government is dedicated to providing opportunities for skill enhancement and personal growth. He urged the youth to utilize such platforms effectively to carve out an identity for themselves and contribute to the state’s progress.
