Youth Informed About Investment and Export Prospects for Startups and MSME

Youth explored MSME and startup growth, investment strategies, and export opportunities at a dedicated conference featuring expert sessions on incubation, funding, and global trade.

At the MSME Investment Promotion and Startup Conference, the youth in attendance were given a comprehensive overview of the intricacies of establishing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), procuring investment, and accessing export opportunities by experts. During the conference, two special sessions were conducted on the following themes: “Incubation to Investment: Catalyzing the Startup Ecosystem” and “Opening Doors to Export Opportunities for Startups and MSMEs.”

Session for Startup

The startup session was attended by Shri Ronald Fernandes, CEO of RNTU, Shri Firoz Khan Suri of AISER, Sushri Pooja Parmar of Equnati, and Shri Manish Johri of BASPL. The session was moderated by Dr. Abha Rishi of the MP Startup Center.

The incubation model, mentorship, and investors’ perspectives were detailedly discussed by the panelists. The accelerated advancement of India’s incubation ecosystem and the enhanced facilities that are now accessible to entrepreneurs were emphasized. In addition, the robustness of the business model, team commitment, innovation, and market comprehension were all emphasized as critical factors that influence investment decisions. The experts on the panel offered advice on how to convert business concepts into commercial success and attract investment.

Export Opportunity Session

The second session, which was moderated by Shri Manas Gupta, Managing Director of Usha Agro Industries, concentrated on the export opportunities for MSMEs and entrepreneurs. He emphasized the certification, export readiness, and product quality of the MSME department, as well as the facilities it offers.

Detailed insights into India’s current export scenario were provided by Shri Rishikant Tiwari, Joint Director of FIEO. This included information on export registration, documentation procedures, the benefits of export incentive schemes, marketing, and market networking.
