UP CM says budget is meeting the aspirations of 140 crore people

Yogi Adityananth said that budget is very development oriented and is successfully meeting the aspirations of 140 crore people.

 

In Budget 2024, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman increased the standard deduction by 50% to Rs 75,000 and modified tax rates under the new income tax regime to put more money in the hands of the salaried class, boosting consumption.

 

Uttar Pradesh CM stated that the budget includes 1,52,000 for farmer prosperity and more than 3 lakh crores for women’s empowerment.

 

“Under PM Modi’s supervision, the Finance Minister handed down the country’s general budget in the new parliament, which is inclusive, development-oriented, and would meet the expectations of 140 crore people.

 

This general budget has limitless scope for development. This budget allocates 1,52,000 for farmer prosperity and more than 3 lakh crores for women’s empowerment. These are undoubtedly going to benefit Uttar Pradesh,” Yogi said. He also stated that the new tax brackets revealed in the budget are beneficial.

 

Step toward India being a USD 5 trillion economy.

 

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister stated, “For youths, lakhs of job opportunities will be created, and for the middle class, the new income tax slabs announced in the budget are welcome.”

The Chief Minister stated that this budget is a financial document that will help India become a USD 5 trillion economy and a global economic engine.

 

“This budget is intended for 140 crore people in the country. I’d want to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and her entire team,” he said.
