The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi replied to the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address to Parliament in the Lok Sabha today.

In his speech to the House, the Prime Minister thanked the President for his address and emphasized the idea of Viksit Bharat, which served as the speech’s main theme. He emphasized that the Indian President brought up significant matters in her speech and expressed gratitude for her advice.

In light of the fact that many members expressed their opinions regarding the President’s speech both yesterday and today, Shri Modi specifically complimented the new members of Parliament who adhered to the House’s rules while expressing their opinions.

Their manner, he said, was no less than that of an experienced member of parliament, and their ideas have enhanced the value of this discussion much more.

Thanking the electorate for choosing the government by exercising their franchise in the world’s largest election, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the citizens of India for electing the present government for the third time in a row and termed it a moment of pride in the democratic world.

He underlined that the government’s efforts for the past 10 years were the deciding factor for the voters and highlighted the government’s commitment to serving the citizens with the belief of ‘Jan Seva hi Prabhu Seva’, i.e. Service to humanity is service to God. He mentioned that more than 25 crore poor have been lifted out of poverty in such a short span for the first time since independence.

The Prime Minister reiterated that there is zero tolerance for corruption after 2014 and said that the country’s voters have returned them to office. “India’s standing has grown internationally in the modern era. Now, pride fills every Indian’s heart.

According to Shri Modi, India is given priority in all government decisions, programs, and initiatives. The Prime Minister shed light on India’s increasing prominence on the international scene by stating that every Indian citizen now feels proud of their country and that the world’s perception of it has changed. Prime Minister Modi underlined that the government’s policies and choices are all based on the one goal of “Nation First.

According to the prime minister, prior to 2014, the people of the nation were compelled to go about their daily lives, holding themselves responsible for the unfavorable state of affairs. He went on, “They chose us, bringing in a moment of change.”

The prime minister outlined the government’s initiatives to change people’s perceptions from one of nothing being conceivable to one of everything being possible. The Prime Minister enumerated the accomplishments of the government, including the successful implementation of 5G, the greatest coal production, innovative measures to fortify the country’s banking sector, the elimination of Article 370, and zero tolerance for terrorism. “Demolishing the barriers of Article 370 has strengthened democracy,” he continued, pointing out the historically high voter turnout in the recently held general elections.

Additionally, he told the assembly that the state administration was actively participating in the search and rescue efforts and that top Central administration officials were in continual communication with the state government to guarantee the victims received all essential assistance.
