The Olympic Medalist Manu Bhaker Visits Her Maternal Home

Jhajjar : Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker received a warm welcome as she arrived at her maternal grandparents’ home in Jhajjar.

The heartfelt welcome from her family and community was captured on video and soon gained popularity on social media.

Manu – “Given the better facilities in our village, the children will too go a long way. If they get access to the stadiums and ranges, then the these children can also perform well and achieve big things for the country” as told to the reporters in Jhajjar.

Soon after Lok Sabha MP Deepender Singh Hooda responded by committing to build top-notch facilities in Goria village, including a stadium and an international-level shooting range.

“I will contribute Rs 25 lakhs from my Sansaad quota for the village’s development and an additional Rs 1 lakh from my personal funds,” Hooda promised.
