Vivo is set to unveil its latest V70 series smartphones in India today, featuring two new models: the Vivo V70 and the Vivo V70 Elite. The launch event is scheduled for Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 12 PM IST, and will be streamed live on YouTube, allowing viewers across the country and globally to witness the announcement in real time.
Design and Display
The new V70 series succeeds the V60 and V60e models, targeting the mid-tier 5G smartphone market. Both models are expected to feature extremely slim bezels, measuring just 1.25 mm, which Vivo claims are the thinnest in their segment. The devices are likely to come with a 6.59-inch 1.5K display, a pixel density of 459 PPI, 120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 5000 nits for a superior viewing experience.
Performance
Under the hood, the V70 Elite is expected to run on Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the standard V70 will feature Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Both devices will operate on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, bringing software enhancements and new user experience features.
Vivo V70 Camera Setup
Vivo is emphasizing its photography capabilities once again. The V70 series is expected to include a Zeiss-backed 50 MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS, complemented by a 50 MP telephoto lens and an ultrawide sensor. For selfies and video calls, both models are likely to feature a 50 MP front camera.

Battery and Charging
The devices are expected to be powered by a 6500 mAh battery with 90 W wired fast charging, ensuring long-lasting performance and quick top-ups.
Pricing and Availability
Early reports suggest the Vivo V70 5G could start at Rs. 45,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, with a 12GB + 256GB option priced around Rs. 49,999. Color options may include Passion Red and Lemon Yellow.
The V70 Elite is expected to start at Rs. 51,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, with higher configurations priced at Rs. 56,999 (12GB + 256GB) and Rs. 61,999 (12GB + 512GB). Available colors are likely to be Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black.
Both models are expected to be available for purchase online and through offline retail stores immediately after the launch.
