New Delhi: Motorola has expanded its smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+, adding a new premium mid-range device to its Edge 70 series lineup. The smartphone, launched on June 4, is positioned as the fourth model in the series and arrives shortly after the Edge 70 Pro.
The launch strengthens Motorola’s 2026 lineup, with the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ offering flagship-like specifications, a large battery, high-refresh-rate display and advanced camera system aimed at performance-focused users.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Price and Availability
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is priced at Rs. 47,999 in India for the single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The company is offering an instant discount of Rs. 3,000 on select Axis Bank and ICICI Bank credit cards. Alternatively, customers can avail an exchange bonus of Rs. 3,000 along with no-cost EMI options of up to six months.
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is available for purchase via Flipkart and the Motorola India online store. It comes in Pantone Chicory Coffee, Pantone Stormy Sea and Pantone Zinfandel colour options.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Display and Design
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ features a 6.8-inch 1.5K Extreme AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,272×2,772 pixels. The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and full 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, making it a strong contender in the premium mid-range segment.

Performance and Software
Powering the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset built on a 4nm process. The octa-core processor is paired with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. Motorola has also added a vapour chamber cooling system to maintain performance during heavy usage.
The smartphone runs Android 16-based Hello UI out of the box, offering a clean and updated software experience.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Camera Setup
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ features a triple rear camera system, including a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-710 primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens offering up to 3x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 112-degree field of view.
For selfies, the device includes a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus support, strengthening its position in the camera-focused mid-range category.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is backed by a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging support. Despite the large battery, the device maintains a slim profile at 7.19mm thickness and weighs around 190 grams.
