Participation in cleanliness

During the “Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyaan”, an oath will be administered to citizens in the presence of local public representatives to create a clean India. Songs, dances, quizzes, poetry recitations, and street plays focused on cleanliness will be organized at various places by students and youth. Workshops focused on waste management, complete cleanliness, and waste to art will be organized in the presence of citizens and experts at various places in the state. Activities at the Sanitation Target Unit

In the campaign, first, places needing special focus on cleanliness will be identified and decisions will be taken on carrying out special work for the convenience of the citizens. Sapling plantation programs will also be organized in the ambitious program ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’. Special attention will be given to the repair of public toilets in those places. To increase participation in collective cleaning activities, apart from the identification of volunteers and participation of industrial groups, those doing outstanding work will be honored in the presence of citizens.
