Nayar Valley Adventure Festival Launched in Bilkhet, Boosting Uttarakhand Tourism and Regional Development

Bilkhet, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand: Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami inaugurated the three-day Nayar Valley Adventure Festival in Bilkhet, Pauri Garhwal, emphasizing the state government’s commitment to balanced regional development and tourism promotion. The event saw participation from multiple departments, with DM-led inspection of various exhibition stalls showcasing local initiatives and tourism projects.

During the festival, the CM announced the establishment of a paragliding institute in Nayar Valley, aimed at promoting adventure sports and attracting tourism enthusiasts from across the country. The event also featured important development announcements targeting regional infrastructure, economic growth, and skill-based opportunities for local youth.

Highlighting the government’s development vision, Pushkar Dhami stated, “Our administration is committed to holistic growth across Pauri district and the entire state of Uttarakhand. We aim to leave behind a secure, prosperous, and culturally strong Uttarakhand for future generations.”

He also criticized efforts to mislead the public using political appeasement and misuse of modern technologies like Artificial Intelligence, stressing that such actions cannot undermine the state’s development image. “Protecting the spiritual and cultural heritage of Devbhoomi while ensuring social harmony is our firm resolve,” he added.

The Nayar Valley Adventure Festival Uttarakhand is designed to promote local tourism, create employment opportunities, and showcase the state’s natural and cultural heritage. Activities include adventure sports, exhibitions by local entrepreneurs, and engagement programs highlighting Uttarakhand’s unique traditions.

The festival also reflects the government’s focus on sustainable development and tourism-driven economic growth. With initiatives like the paragliding institute and enhanced infrastructure projects, Uttarakhand aims to position itself as a leading destination for adventure tourism while ensuring that regional development benefits local communities directly.
