CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Engages with Staff Ahead of Uttarakhand Budget Session 2026

Chief Minister Dhami reviews preparations and interacts with staff to ensure smooth conduct of Uttarakhand Budget Session 2026

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday interacted with sanitation workers, police personnel, and other staff involved in the smooth conduct of the Uttarakhand Budget Session 2026 during his morning walk at Bhararisain in Chamoli. The Chief Minister also inspected the kitchen arrangements where meals were being prepared and interacted with staff to understand their functioning and requirements.

CM Dhami Reviews Gym and Prepares for Uttarakhand Budget Session 2026

Ahead of the Uttarakhand Budget Session 2026, CM Dhami also reviewed gym facilities and ensured all necessary arrangements for the upcoming Assembly session scheduled from March 9 to March 13, 2026, at the Vidhan Bhavan in the summer capital, Bhararisain (Gairsain).

Presenting Uttarakhand’s Economic Survey, Principal Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram highlighted that the state’s GSDP for 2024-25 stood at Rs 3,81,889 crore, compared to Rs 2.54 lakh crore in 2021-22, showing a growth of over one and a half times.

Earlier, CM Dhami paid a courtesy visit to Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan in Bhararisain, where he was welcomed by MLA Anil Nautiyal, Chamoli District Magistrate Gaurav Kumar, SP Surjeet Singh Panwar, and local residents.

CM Honours Women on International Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, CM Dhami also participated in the ‘Nari Tu Narayani’ programme organized at Mukhya Sevak Sadan, Dehradun. During the event, the Chief Minister felicitated 38 senior women from across Uttarakhand for their outstanding contributions in education, social service, entrepreneurship, environmental conservation, agriculture, culture, and water management.

Extending his greetings, CM Dhami emphasized that the sacrifices and blessings of women strengthen families, society, and the nation, playing a vital role in the progress celebrated during the Uttarakhand Budget Session 2026.
