Uttar Pradesh : Ahead of the upcoming board examinations, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday appealed to students to place personal safety, good health and academic discipline at the top of their priorities.
In a message addressed to students, the Chief Minister shared three important advisories. He urged them to stay away from Chinese manjha, a sharp-edged kite string that is banned across Uttar Pradesh and has been responsible for several fatal incidents. Students were advised not only to avoid using it themselves but also to alert friends and inform the police about illegal sales, with support from their families.
The Chief Minister also warned students about the dangers of excessive mobile phone usage, noting that addiction to gaming and prolonged video watching leads to wastage of time, poor academic performance and eyesight problems. He encouraged students to strike a healthy balance by reading books, engaging in sports, spending time with family, and keeping mobile phone use under control.

Addressing students appearing for Class X and Class XII board examinations, CM Yogi stressed the importance of discipline, self-confidence and concentration. Quoting from the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, he reminded students that individuals have control over their actions, not the outcomes, and urged them to focus on hard work and sincere effort rather than worrying about results.

He explained that ambitions such as becoming an astronaut require focused study, reading biographies and developing a deep interest in the chosen field. He also advised students to keep their dreams private initially to avoid unnecessary criticism or discouragement.
PM Modi further encouraged students to write down their dreams and nurture them quietly, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). Answering another question on daily habits for achieving big goals, he recommended reading biographies of great personalities, saying that learning about their struggles and early journeys helps build confidence and provides a clear, step-by-step path to success.
The next episode of Pariksha Pe Charcha is scheduled to be aired today at 10 am.
