Uttar Pradesh : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the Housing and Urban Planning Department to launch a new one-time settlement scheme (OTS-2026) aimed at speedy resolution of pending residential and commercial allocations. He highlighted that long-pending dues and disputed cases not only slow down development but also create unnecessary difficulties for common citizens. The goal of the scheme is to ensure a fast, transparent, and practical solution for all stakeholders.
The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that unresolved payments or disputed allocations hinder the state’s progress. He directed the housing department to adopt a solution-oriented system that allows the department to recover revenue while providing relief to allottees. The scheme should be people-centric, offering clear and simple options to genuine allottees.

Officials informed that many cases were resolved under the OTS-2020 scheme, but some allottees could not make payments due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The department provided a detailed list of pending cases across residential and commercial properties in the state.

CM Yogi Adityanath stressed that the OTS-2026 scheme should be practical and beneficial, offering suitable exemptions on dues for one-time payments and installment options. He underlined that the core objective of the scheme should be to provide relief to the common citizen. All applications should be processed within a stipulated timeframe to ensure timely resolution.
The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also directed the department to ensure wide publicity of the scheme so that maximum eligible people are aware of it. He suggested proactive dissemination of information about the ‘Exam Samhat Samadhana Yojana’ and emphasized that the entire process should be online, transparent, and user-friendly.
With the implementation of OTS-2026, thousands of allottees will benefit, and the department will also secure the necessary revenue.
