Sitapur: CM Yogi Adityanath attended the Murti Sthapana Diwas and Bhandara at Tapodham Satguru Giridhari Nath Ji Maharaj Tapodham Ashram on Monday. During the event, he urged society to remain vigilant, saying that if Sanatan Dharma weakens, the nation weakens, which could put Sanatan itself at risk. He stressed the importance of unity against forces attempting to divide society.

The CM Yogi highlighted atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh, particularly Dalit Hindus, noting that while some religious leaders and Hindu organizations speak out, global human rights groups remain largely silent.

He praised India’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling it a transformative journey toward becoming a global power. He emphasized that every citizen must contribute to this mission for the benefit of present and future generations.

CM Yogi Adityanath reflected on the resilience of Sanatan culture, which has endured over centuries and continues to promote friendship and compassion through the philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”. He condemned attempts to break this unity and noted that Sanatan followers have historically offered shelter to those in need, while some refugees misused this generosity.

He elaborated that followers of Sanatan Dharma have historically used their strength, wealth, and wisdom for humanity’s welfare, emphasizing traditions like offering the first bite of food to cows, the last to dogs, feeding ants, and even providing milk to snakes, symbolizing respect for all life.

CM Yogi Adityanath highlighted India’s recent economic and cultural growth under PM Modi, stating that India is on the path to becoming the third-largest economy in the world. He attributed this rapid progress to the country’s recognition of its values and cultural heritage.

Referring to historical figures, the CM recalled that in 1947, Yogiraj Giridhari Nath Ji Maharaj left Hinglaj Devi Dham in Pakistan, meditated in a cave in Sitapur, and later, Guru Yogiraj Charannath Ji Maharaj continued the yogic tradition at the Yog Ashram. He highlighted that surviving months without food is possible only through intense yogic practice.
