“On Thursday at 4 p.m., Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered a sacred khichdi of faith to Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath at the Gorakhnath Temple on Makar Sankranti. He prayed to Shivavatar Mahayogi for the happiness and prosperity of all.”

Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath wished all residents, saints, and devotees a happy Makar Sankranti after presenting khichdi to Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath. The Chief Minister told reporters at the event that since Wednesday, thousands of followers have been bending to their faith and visiting sacred sites throughout the state. Lord Gorakhnath Ji received prayers from thousands of devotees in Gorakhpur. Thousands of worshippers also bathed in the sacred pool at Prayagraj. On Thursday, the Chief Minister stated that this pattern is still ongoing.
