Bikaner, Rajasthan: Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje met with current Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma for the first time at the CM’s official residence on Monday, February 16. While CM Sharma had previously visited Raje at her residence on multiple occasions, this marked her first visit to the Chief Minister’s office. The meeting has generated significant discussion among political circles, with analysts noting its importance in conveying coordination and unity within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The event saw the presence of several senior BJP leaders, MLAs, and ministers. Observers noted that Raje’s participation drew attention, highlighting her influence and role in state politics.

CM Bhajanlal Sharma Stresses Booth-Level Mobilisation and Coordination Ahead of PM’s Assembly in Bikaner
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also chaired a detailed organisational meeting for the Bikaner division, emphasising effective booth-level mobilisation and feedback from grassroots workers. He highlighted the significance of coordination across all levels of the party to ensure that the Prime Minister’s assembly event would be historic. Sharma reiterated the government’s commitment to development, describing a “double-engine” governance model and the budget as tools to achieve a developed Rajasthan.

Prominent leaders present at the meeting included Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, former CM Vasundhara Raje, Chairman of the Heritage Conservation and Promotion Authority Onkar Singh Lakhawat, former Bikaner MLA Siddhi Kumari, Dr. Vishwanath Meghwal, MLA Jethanand Vyas, city president Suman Chhajed, and other party officials. BJP leaders Mahavir Ranka and Mohan Surana were also in attendance.
The meeting reviewed the party’s organisational strength, strategies for upcoming elections, and local issues, with former MLA Siddhi Kumari highlighting infrastructure concerns such as road conditions.
