Jaipur: The AI-powered farmers’ revolution was officially launched in Jaipur with the inauguration of an AI Hackathon by Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The programme aims to provide farmers with advanced technological tools to increase productivity, income, and self-reliance.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed his gratitude to Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and other dignitaries present. He said, “The Union Agriculture Minister understands both the challenges and solutions for farmers. This initiative will bring happiness and progress to the lives of farmers. We want our farmers to fully utilise this technology, which will be accessible on their phones. This is not just about technology—it represents a fundamental change in agriculture.”

The AI-based platform will provide farmers with crucial information related to weather updates, mandi prices, pest and disease management, soil conditions, crop advice, and central government schemes. CM Bhajan Lal emphasised that farmers will have access to smart, real-time guidance 24/7 in 11 languages, making it easier to adopt modern farming techniques. “A developed farmer is essential for a developed India. This platform, along with existing schemes like the PM Fasal Bima Yojana, will significantly benefit farmers,” he added.

CM Bhajan Lal Highlights Daytime Electricity Supply for Farmers in 22 Districts
Highlighting infrastructure improvements, the CM Bhajan Lal said that farmers in 22 districts are now being provided electricity during the daytime to support agricultural activities. “Rajasthan leads in the production of millet, mustard, isabgol, and cumin seeds. More than 14 lakh animals have been insured under various schemes. With technical knowledge and AI assistance, farmers’ incomes will continue to rise,” he noted.
CM Bhajan Lal concluded by urging collective efforts to achieve the vision of “Developed India 2047”, emphasising that empowered and modernised farmers are central to the nation’s growth.
