Jaipur: Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari on Wednesday (February 11, 2026) presented the Rajasthan Budget for 2026-27, proposing significant allocations to enhance water supply, renewable energy, youth employment, and infrastructure across the state.
Under the CM Jal Jeevan Mission, the government plans to provide tap water to every household in rural and urban areas, allocating ₹4,500 crore for villages and ₹2,300 crore for urban centers, totaling ₹6,800 crore.
The Rajasthan Budget also earmarks around ₹2,950 crore for the construction of new solar parks in Bikaner and Jaisalmer, reinforcing the state’s commitment to renewable energy.
Under the CM Self-Employment Scheme, interest-free loans and grants up to ₹10 lakh will be extended to support 30,000 youth, encouraging entrepreneurship and self-reliance.

For road infrastructure, the government has proposed ₹1,400 crore for non-patchable roads and ₹600 crore for missing link roads, ensuring improved connectivity across the state.
Rajasthan Projects Significant Economic Expansion in Rajasthan Budget 2026-27
Highlighting the impact of structural reforms and prudent financial management, Kumari stated that Rajasthan’s economy is projected to reach ₹21,52,100 crore in 2026-27, while per capita income is expected to rise from ₹1.67 lakh to ₹2.02 lakh by the end of 2025-26.

She said the growth reflects the government’s focus on fiscal discipline, sustainable development, and inclusive progress, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. Kumari added that the government is working to achieve the principles of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.”
In her Rajasthan Budget address, Deputy CM Kumari emphasized that to realize the vision of a developed Rajasthan by 2047, the state government, under Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, has prioritized good governance, service, and dedication, ensuring that the poor, youth, farmers, and women remain central to the state’s development journey.
