Rajasthan : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Sunday praised the Union Budget 2026, calling it inclusive, progressive, and forward-looking. He listened to the presentation by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at his residence and described it as a strong roadmap for building a developed and self-reliant India.
Expressing gratitude, CM Sharma thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Sitharaman for presenting a budget that addresses the aspirations of all sections of society. He said the budget demonstrates the government’s commitment to balanced development and long-term national growth.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the budget touches every major sector of the economy, including infrastructure, artificial intelligence, rural prosperity, tourism, youth empowerment, healthcare, and public welfare. He noted that the focus on technology and innovation, alongside traditional sectors, will accelerate India’s overall growth.
CM Sharma explained that the Union Budget 2026 is guided by three key objectives: promoting economic growth through investment and job creation, improving facilities and opportunities to enhance citizens’ quality of life, and ensuring that the benefits of development reach every section of society, in line with the government’s Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas vision.

He also said the budget strikes a balance between modernity and heritage, strengthening infrastructure while preserving cultural values, and providing a foundation for a capable, confident, and resilient nation.
