Jaipur: Jodhpur has set a new milestone in tourism, welcoming over 38 lakh tourists in 2025. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed his delight over this historic achievement, stating that Jodhpur has now emerged as a complete tourist destination.
This remarkable growth highlights Jodhpur’s global appeal as a major tourism hub. The record reflects the strong impact of development initiatives under the double-engine government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The city’s tourism sector has strengthened due to coordinated efforts between the Central and State Governments, including preservation of historical sites, improved connectivity, enhanced sanitation, better security, and upgraded tourist facilities. Today, Jodhpur meets international standards as a cultural and heritage destination.

On the initiative of the Chief Minister, a state-level event was also organized last year during Independence Day to promote tourism and showcase the city’s attractions.
