Yudh Nashe Virudh Drive : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab on Monday launched a sharp attack on what it referred to as the “ED Party” following the arrest of two individuals in Bathinda, including a person allegedly associated with the party’s legal team. According to AAP Punjab, police recovered 13.53 grams of ICE and 14.03 grams of heroin during the operation.

AAP Punjab claimed that the arrests raise serious questions about the opposition’s stance on the drug problem in Punjab. The party alleged that while the opposition presents itself as a solution to the drug menace, such incidents reveal its alleged links to the ecosystem that enabled the spread of narcotics over the years.

Yudh Nashe Virudh Campaign Continues

Highlighting the state’s anti-drug drive, AAP Punjab said the Bhagwant Mann Government’s Yudh Nashe Virudh campaign is taking strict action against drug traffickers, smugglers, and their networks across the state.

The party asserted that Yudh Nashe Virudh is aimed at dismantling the entire drug supply chain and ensuring that those involved in narcotics-related activities face legal consequences, regardless of their political affiliations.

Political Battle Over Drug Issue Intensifies

With Punjab’s political parties increasingly focusing on the issue of drugs, the latest development is likely to intensify the debate ahead of future elections.
