Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora dedicated the Government Senior Secondary School in Tunga village, Udhamsingh Wala constituency, to students after its major upgrade with state-of-the-art facilities worth ₹32.56 lakh, provided under the Mann government’s education development initiative.
The Tunga village government school upgrade aims to strengthen infrastructure in rural education and provide students with modern learning facilities to improve academic outcomes. Officials stated that this development is part of the government’s broader mission to enhance school education across Punjab.

During the event, Aman Arora emphasized that the Tunga village government school upgrade reflects the government’s strong commitment to ensuring quality education services are accessible to students in both rural and urban areas. He added that education remains a top priority of the Mann government.

On the same occasion, the Cabinet Minister also distributed grant cheques to local welfare organizations. The Bhagat Ravidas Welfare Committee received ₹4 lakh for a dharamshala, while the Shiv Bhole Welfare Club was given ₹2 lakh for another dharamshala. Additionally, ₹2 lakh was allotted to the Gugga Medi Welfare Society for constructing a boundary wall for the medi.
