A major development push was launched in Tanda, Hoshiarpur district, where projects worth ₹150 crore were inaugurated, marking a significant step toward strengthening infrastructure, healthcare, and civic amenities in the region.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann highlighted that the Tanda Development Projects reflect the government’s commitment to improving connectivity and public services across Punjab. He said the initiative aims to bring long-awaited development to the region.
Out of the total investment, projects worth ₹141.88 crore have been dedicated to the renovation of link roads. The Tanda Development Projects focus on improving road connectivity, ensuring smoother travel, and boosting rural-urban access in the district.

Tanda Development Projects Include ₹2.39 Crore High-Level Bridge Near Gurdwara Rampur Kheda Sahib
A key highlight of the Tanda Development Projects is the construction of a high-level bridge at a cost of ₹2.39 crore near Gurdwara Rampur Kheda Sahib, which will greatly benefit devotees and improve transportation convenience in the area.

In the healthcare sector, the Tanda Development Projects include the establishment of Health and Wellness Centres in six villages with an investment of ₹3.30 crore, along with an Urban Primary Health Centre in Garhdiwala worth ₹1.35 crore.
Additionally, a water supply project worth ₹1.54 crore has also been initiated in Talwandi Daddian village under the Tanda Development Projects, aimed at improving access to clean drinking water for residents.
