Punjab is witnessing a strong pace of grain procurement this season as Punjab wheat procurement 2026 continues smoothly across the state’s mandis. Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak recently visited the Gurdaspur Mandi to review the ongoing procurement operations and interact with officials and stakeholders.
According to official updates , the process of Punjab wheat procurement 2026 is progressing steadily with continuous arrivals of wheat in the markets. Farmers across the state are actively bringing their produce to mandis, ensuring a consistent supply in the procurement system.
So far, the data highlights strong momentum in Punjab wheat procurement 2026, with nearly 61 lakh metric tons of wheat arriving in Punjab’s markets. Out of this, around 57 lakh metric tons have already been procured by government agencies, reflecting efficient execution of the procurement drive.
