On the occasion of Republic Day 2026, the Punjab tableau at Kartavya Path honored the supreme sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, highlighting his enduring message of humanity, justice, and religious freedom. The tableau, which drew nationwide attention, commemorates the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the revered Sikh saint, also known as Hind Di Chadar.

AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal shared on X that Punjab’s tableau “filled the entire nation with pride, reminding the country of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji’s sacrifice and his timeless teachings on humanity.”

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann expressed his pride in the tableau, stating it stands as a tribute not only to the Sikh community but also to the values of human rights and religious freedom. He emphasized that the tableau inspires citizens to oppose injustice and oppression, and reiterated the government’s commitment to familiarizing society with the life and legacy of Guru Sahib Ji.
