In a significant stride towards educational reform, Punjab’s Transport and Jail Minister, S. Laljit Singh Bhullar, inaugurated infrastructure projects worth ₹1.10 crore in six government schools of the Patti constituency in Tarn Taran district. This initiative is part of the state’s ambitious ‘Punjab Sikhya Kranti’ campaign aimed at transforming government schools across the region.
Revamping Educational Infrastructure
The newly inaugurated projects include the establishment of smart classrooms, integrated science labs, interactive panels, high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity, clean drinking water facilities, separate toilets for boys and girls, modern furniture, and boundary walls. These enhancements are designed to provide a conducive learning environment, aligning with the state’s vision to elevate educational standards and make government schools more appealing to students and parents alike.

Minister Bhullar emphasized that the ‘Sikhya Kranti’ initiative is not just about infrastructure but also focuses on empowering students and teachers.
