Chandigarh: Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh chaired an important review meeting with senior Health Department officials in Chandigarh to assess the state’s healthcare system and formulate future strategies aimed at making Punjab health services more effective, modern, and people-centric.
The update was shared by Dr. Balbir Singh through his official X account, where he highlighted the Punjab government’s continued focus on improving healthcare delivery across the state.
Review Meeting Focuses on Better Healthcare
During the meeting, officials conducted a comprehensive review of the existing Punjab health services and discussed measures to further strengthen medical infrastructure and public healthcare facilities.
According to the Health Minister, the discussions focused on improving the efficiency of health services while ensuring that citizens receive timely, accessible, and quality medical care.
Strategy Prepared to Expand Health Facilities
A future roadmap was also prepared during the meeting to expand healthcare facilities and enhance the reach of Punjab health services across the state.
The government plans to continue modernising hospitals and improving healthcare delivery so that people in both urban and rural areas can benefit from better medical facilities.
