The ongoing Punjab anti gangster operation has entered its 139th day, marking a strong and continuous effort by the state police to dismantle organized crime networks. According to information shared by Hardip Singh Mundian, the campaign is being carried out in a highly coordinated manner across Punjab.
As part of the latest phase of the Punjab anti gangster operation, police conducted simultaneous raids at 469 locations across different districts. These large-scale actions were planned based on intelligence inputs and aimed at suspected hideouts of criminal elements.
263 Arrests Made During Latest Crackdown
The Punjab anti gangster operation resulted in the arrest of 263 individuals allegedly linked to gangster activities. Officials stated that the coordinated raids helped in quickly detaining suspects and disrupting local criminal networks operating in various regions of the state.

Weapons Recovered During Action

Over 35,000 Arrests Since Campaign Began
Since its launch, the Punjab anti gangster operation has led to a total of 35,076 arrests. This figure highlights the scale and intensity of the sustained crackdown being carried out across Punjab to curb organized crime and strengthen law and order.
Parallel Anti-Drug Drive Also Strengthened
Alongside the Punjab anti gangster operation, the state is also running a strong anti-drug campaign. On the 464th day of this drive, 81 drug traffickers were arrested, and a significant quantity of narcotics was seized, further tightening enforcement against illegal drug networks.
