KHATKAR KALAN : On the solemn occasion of Shaheedi Diwas, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann paid heartfelt tributes to Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev, honoring their supreme sacrifice for India’s freedom. Speaking at Khatkar Kalan and Hussainiwala, the CM reaffirmed the government’s commitment to preserving the legacy of these iconic martyrs and building a “Rangla Punjab” rooted in their fearless ideals.

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann highlighted the transformative vision of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, stating, “This day reminds us of the supreme sacrifice made by Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh for the motherland. The martyrdom of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev will forever inspire us to stand against injustice and social evils.” He urged citizens to carry forward their ideals in everyday life and stressed the importance of education and empowerment to realize the vision these martyrs fought for.

CM Mann: Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh’s youth leadership could have made India a global power.

Recalling historical contributions, the CM noted that if India had been led by youth like Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh after independence, the nation’s trajectory would have been markedly different. “If the reins of the country were handed to courageous young revolutionaries, India could have emerged as a global leader much earlier,” he added. The CM also criticized political leaders who attempt to downplay the freedom struggle, asserting that honoring martyrs like Bhagat Singh is a moral obligation.
