The Punjab government has launched a special initiative for livestock farmers ahead of the monsoon season by accelerating the Lumpy Skin Disease Vaccination in Punjab campaign. According to information shared by AAP Punjab on its official X page, the government plans to vaccinate 57.70 lakh animals to protect them from Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD).
The vaccination campaign aims to reduce the risk of disease outbreaks and safeguard the health of cattle across the state.

Under the Lumpy Skin Disease Vaccination in Punjab initiative, veterinary teams will vaccinate 57.70 lakh animals before the peak monsoon season. The government believes the preventive measure will help protect livestock and reduce the spread of the disease.

Livestock Farmers Urged to Contact Veterinary Institutions
The Punjab government has appealed to all livestock farmers to visit their nearest government veterinary hospitals and institutions to ensure timely vaccination of their animals.
