Punjab Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak has strongly highlighted the transformative power of education while addressing a programme under the Education Revolution initiative in the state. Representing the Bhoa constituency, he urged parents to prioritise education over material comforts, saying that investing in children’s learning is the true path to breaking the cycle of poverty.

Under the Education Revolution initiative, the minister stated that even if families buy slightly cheaper clothes, it does not matter, but ensuring quality education for children should remain the top priority. He stressed that it is the children who will ultimately lift their families out of poverty through knowledge, skills, and opportunity.

Speaking at the event, Kataruchak explained that the Education Revolution is not just about improving schools but about changing mindsets across society. He encouraged parents to view education as the most powerful tool for social and economic upliftment.

Reinforcing his message, the minister said that a school under the Education Revolution is not merely a structure of four walls and rooms. Instead, it is a place where children must be allowed to grow, learn, and develop “wings” to fly toward a better future. He emphasized that schools should nurture confidence, creativity, and ambition in every child.
